Solar panels are the solar system’s most prominent component, as they are the device that absorbs sunlight, before routing this energy through the inverter to be converted into the electricity that powers your home.
Clean.Tech offers a variety of panel manufacturers and wattages to accommodate for maximizing system output along with brand and style-conscious customer expectations. For instance, customers who prefer an American-made panel can select a suitable module, if desired.
Complete panel selections are listed in the Clean.Tech app, as you design the solar system. Specific manufacturers and wattage models can vary due to regional availability, so always consult the app for available offerings in your specific market. Meanwhile, note that Clean.Tech solar designs will always be built with triple black (black monocrystalline cell, black backing material, and black frame). Our tier 1 panels range from 320 watts up to 380 watts. Additionally, know that Clean.Tech strives to comprehensively provide Tier 1 Bloomberg rated panels. Bloomberg business review is the most widely respected source for panel grading and performance details, with Tier 1 being the highest rating available, ensuring customers are receiving a top of the line product with complete warranty protection. And, as needed, the Clean.Tech proposal contains ‘spec sheets’ for a more detailed look at panel specifics for your selected manufacturer and model.
An inverter converts the solar energy absorbed by the solar panels from direct current (DC) power into alternating current (AC) power that is used in your customer’s home.
The Clean.Tech app automatically pairs the correct inverter with your selected system size, so there is no need to select an inverter in the app. However, given the desire for customization and customer preference, upgradable inverter options are available for selection in the app. The following are auto-paired with app-generated 3D solar designs:

Ground Mount systems - SolarEdge with optimizers
For customers interested in microinverters, Enphase microinverters are available for selection in the app. And, a SolarEdge Energy Hub inverter is available for customers interested in a product that can truly act as a ‘hub’ across anticipated, ancillary solar system components, like storage, and electric vehicle chargers.
Solar system racking, or the structure attaching the solar panels and system to the desired structure are a key component to a quality installation whether the system is rooftop or ground mounted. Clean.Tech racking systems are made from anodized aluminum. A strong material to ensure a solid and sturdy installation, yet light enough not to add more than 2-3 pounds of weight per square foot to your roof. Your customer’s racking system will stand up to the elements while continuing to look fresh and new, as the anodized treatment will protect the system’s metal alloy from corrosion.
Clean.Tech automatically applies the appropriate racking and mounting equipment to each job, so there is no need for you to choose racking when creating a proposal in the app.
Energy Storage Systems (a.k.a. Batteries)
For homeowners interested in solar storage or battery systems to provide reliable energy back-up, Clean.Tech solar systems can be equipped with the LG Chem RESU 16 kWh battery. This storage solution is available for selection in the app. Please refer to the storage article in the Help Center to set proper expectations for the typical back-up capability of storage. In short, batteries should not be viewed as holistic back-up for an entire home’s energy needs, but as a valuable asset to maintain use of important critical circuits of the home, like refrigeration, safety lighting, low-use medical equipment, and internet service.
All installations provided by Clean.Tech come with a ten year labor and workmanship warranty. For solar panels, all Tier 1 panels come with a 25 year performance warranty. And for inverters, SolarEdge Inverters come with a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty, and Enphase microinverters have a 25 year manufacturer’s warranty.
